SEO or SE-OH-NO!
Everyone wants to be found and be numero uno on the google hot list but how do you get there? That's the 100 million dollar question. Well there are many ways but for NADA there are 2 main sides. One is organic and one is paid. Both are important but can be done without the other. We have continually improved our SEO skills so our clients can be found. Some locally some nationally and that translates into hits which translates into sales. Besides the basics of meta-tags, content, links and cross linking, titling, NADA has partnered with an amazing company that offers google ad-words on steroids by utilizing software they developed that delivers your ad to the top of heap and has the stats to prove it by implementing a specific number and email tracking system. We also offer Facebook advertising and remarketing. It's where it's at! To find out more give us a call and see what new monthly SEO packages we have to offer!

HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY YALL! to NADA.
I just can't believe we have made it to the 5 year, half decade mark, it's sooooo crazy! All I know is I absolutely LOVE what I do and who I am doing it with. We have the best team of people working with us and it makes the career that has chosen us so much more enjoyable. I would and could not have ever done this with anybody else besides Nathan, the "NA" of the family and it has been an incredible journey of both ups and downs but always moving forward to get us where we are today. We get to laugh, play, work hard, make other people's dreams' come true and support ourselves, it doesn't get much better than that. So I guess the message for the day is do what you love and love what you do because life is WAY too short to NOT take chances! CONGRATULATIONS!

Small Agencies, the new Trend?
I was reading this article in the Star Tribune in Minneapolis St. Paul and it once again hit home how the model that NADA advertising has created for itself is the trend for small, medium and large businesses. To us, these agencies are not small, they are medium, we take it even one step further with our streamlined, green online process, virtual meeting room, virtual online approval system and a point of contact that can get things done fast. All with low overhead to give you, the customer, the most competitive price out there. What more can you ask for, great service and great prices! :) Thanks for choosing NADA advertising.

the Space Between
Have you noticed lately that everything is getting real clean, real simple and modern. From beer bottles to laundry detergent packaging, logos and ad campaigns all have really simplified their look. What's up with that and is it just a quick new trend or is it the wave of the future. Lots of people have been talking about cutting through the clutter and that's what I think it's about. Eventually design had been getting so textured, so heavy in design elements in order to stand out and let the product, no matter what it is, stand out, you had to go simple. There was no other way to go. Now simple means less is more. But make sure you're careful when you're changing your brand, you don't want to piss-off your loyal customers that are comfortable with what they see when they purchase your product. Tropicana learned their lesson. But overall it makes sense and I like it! It really goes to show that you don't need every inch of white space taken up by a dot or swirl just to get your point across. Claude Debussy said "Music is the space between the notes." Well design is the space between the images.

Here today, gone tomorrow
You know, a lot of people love to jump on band wagons, do as much research as possible, check out what the competition is doing and I think that's great and quite necessary in a lot of applications, but I also believe there is some benefit of originality through ignorance. Paul McCartney said it best "We're not the best song writers, we're just the best thieves." He knew he didn't create all the music from absolutely nowhere, there had to be some basis, some inspiration to be manipulated from others to write the most amazing songs ever written. But at the same time he surrounded himself with new personal experiences that were his own, connected it with what he heard and bam, "Yesterday" comes flowing like no tomorrow. I love learning about the latest tricks and newest technology as much as the next guy or girl but when I get truly inspired is when organic thoughts of creativity enter my mind and body and come pouring out all over myself. Sounds kind of dirty and messy but the clean up is fun. Putting all those pieces together to form what I consider art. Might not be your art, might not be their art but it's mine and yours is yours. Sometimes to think outside of the box you have to not know what the box is. The only way I can experience this energy is to find piece in my day, in my life to slow down and absorb what this earth has to offer. With all the daily clamors, inspiration sometimes gets pushed aside because we don't allow the door to even squeak open just a little bit to let it in. Well I am making a commitment to myself, to life, that I will continue to take that time to get cool, get centered and get inspired.
until tomorrow-
